To participate in Internships or in the Traineeship, a master in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Process Engineering is required. For the Traineeship a maximum 2 years of work experience.
You are an Intern or Trainee who is eager to learn, enthusiastic and proactive. You can communicate well in word and writing in both Dutch and English at various levels.
You have knowledge of MS Office (including Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
As an Intern or Trainee you can give your career a good start with a Technical Internship focusing at a challenging project or a Traineeship in which you work in various disciplines. You lead and participate in projects and gain work experience in Technical disciplines. Within the Traineeship we think of Maintenance, Reliability, Mechnical Engineering, Process Engineering and / or Project Management.
Both as an Intern and as a Technical trainee you bring your technical knowledge directly into practice.
There are also opportunities to participate in projects outside the Botlek plant (European, for example, at our sister organizations in the UK or France).
There are many possibilities for a Technical Trainee. Your growth and development is key during the 2-year Traineeship. With this Technical traineeship you shape your personal development with the help of a personal development plan, coaching and various training courses.
As an Intern or Trainee you are part of the Technology & Improvement, Reliability & Integrity department within Maintenance or Process Engineering within production. The Technology & Improvement department includes asset improvement engineers, process improvement engineers, process control engineers and project managers. The Reliability & Integrity department consists of a number of reliability engineers, a reliability specialist and Inspectors. Various process engineers work within the production departments.
