At QuantaMap, we develop advanced metrology and diagnostic tools that help the quantum industry understand and improve quantum chip performance. Our technology is based on a nano-SQUID-on-tip microscope, capable of imaging magnetic fields, currents, and temperature at cryogenic temperatures with nanometer precision. By visualizing how quantum devices actually behave under operating conditions, we enable researchers and manufacturers to identify defects, optimize fabrication processes, and accelerate the development of scalable quantum hardware.
We are looking for independent problem solvers, who make things work, have grit and a passion for building things. You’ll be working closely with a small and very supportive team, so close communication and shared team goals will be part of daily life.
In a dynamic start-up, the environment and goals can change fast and you’ll be someone who enjoys this. In parallel though, your work will be of high integrity and completed with scientific rigour.
We are currently looking for interns from most engineering disciplines and physical sciences, e.g. mechanical & mechatronic engineers for improvements of our scanning stages, computer scientists & signal processing for controlling the machine and quantitatively interpreting our data, (industrial) designers for our products and many more. If you think you'd enjoy working on such a product, just get in touch.
We will be hiring full-time roles in Q1 2026.
Please reach out to join-us@quantamap.eu with 1-2 sentences why you are interested and your CV (no motivation letter required).
Please also let us know from when you want to start. We'll get in touch with you for a first intro call. In a second stage, we'll invite you for an in-person interview.
