Student profile

Boskalis offers various internship options for students following study tracks like finance & control, civil-, mechanical-, offshore & dredging- and maritime engineering, land and water management, naval architecture and applied physics. Occasionally we have room for students following a different study track. Practical internships take place either abroad or at the Papendrecht/Rotterdam office, whereas graduate internships take place in Papendrecht. Career opportunities

You’re a student and are enjoying student life to the full. But you also want to start gaining some relevant experience for after you graduate. An internship is the ideal introduction to our organization. Practical internships take place either abroad or at the Papendrecht/Rotterdam office, whereas graduate internships take place in Papendrecht. Find out for yourself just how versatile our company is and make interesting contacts that will be valuable throughout your career. And while it is not a given, in practice it turns out that Boskalis interns often continue their career with Boskalis, either in a traineeship or junior position.

Application procedure

Application is easy. Find a list of our current student & starter opportunities in our vacancy overview. Found something? Complete the online application form and send it to us along with your CV and cover letter. As soon as you have sent your application you will receive an email to confirm receipt. It is not possible to apply via email, the contact form or regular mail.

Based on your CV and cover letter we look for a possible match between you and Boskalis. You will improve your chances of getting an internship by stating why you would like to work for Boskalis and what it is exactly that you are looking for in an internship (assignment). The more specific, the better!

Depending on the internship we will invite you for one or more interviews. You only get one chance to make a first impression. Clothing should be neat and clean, but it isn't necessary to wear a suit.
