AOMB Intellectual property is a full-service office in the field of intellectual property, and one of the top 5 of Dutch patent offices with various offices spread across the Netherlands. What we do is help entrepreneurs with ideas or (technical) inventions to build, maintain or strengthen a distinctive position in the market. By properly protecting ideas and inventions and making optimal use of those so that they stay ahead of the competition. Our clients are SMEs, Technology Transfer Offices (TTO) as also multinationals in various industries.
AOMB employs patent attorneys in the fields of mechanical engineering, life sciences, chemistry, electrical engineering, software and physics. In addition, we employ trademark and design attorneys.

Our presentation will give you an insight into the fascinating field of IP in which you are always working on the latest inventions. We are happy to tell you what our traineeship entails and show you what challenges you encounter on the basis of practical examples.

Student profile

Master's or PhD degree in Life Sciences, Health, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or High Tech.

Career opportunities

You will receive a good salary that increases significantly as you progress to become a Dutch, European, or senior representative. You will never stop learning and growing. Salaries for trainees range from €3.600 to €5.100. Salaries for European representatives and senior representatives range from €9.500 to €11.750 per month. On top of that, we offer a year-end bonus and an attractive bonus scheme. Of course, you will also receive a work-from-home allowance. Hybrid working and the option of a workation are our way of encouraging a good work-life balance. We have a bicycle and sports scheme. For those who enjoy it, there are drinks or sporting events with colleagues.
