Prefer doing a PhD? Come to the extra presentations during the lunch!
Are you still hesitating whether to join a company or develop yourself further by doing a PhD? Find out during Delft Career Days' Orientation Days. In addition to all the company presentations, there will be a presentation on doing a PhD during lunch on the Monday and Tuesday of the event. This will take place from 12:45 until 13:15 in Commiekamer 2 of the Aula.
On Monday 17 February from 12:45 to 13:15 in Commissiekamer 2, Israel Carrete, third-year PhD student at the Faculty of IDE and chair of the University PhD council, and Maaike B. Elgersma, third-year PhD student at the Faculty of EEMCS and member of the University PhD council, will give a presentation on doing a PhD at TU Delft. Here, they will explain what a PhD entails, give tips on how to get a PhD, and share experiences so you can find out if doing a PhD suits you.
On Tuesday 18 February from 12:45 to 13:15 in Commissiekamer 2, Prof.dr.ir. Max Mulder will give a presentation on doing a PhD from experience as a promoter and PhD supervisor. Here he will elaborate on the reasons why you might consider doing a PhD with plenty of room to ask questions afterwards.
